PRS in '06
Heading into the fifth year of providing unmatched support to the competitors of the NHRA series, Professional Race Support (PRS) is excited to announce several changes for the 53' Drag Race Division trailer. Introducing a new member to the PRS – NHRA program division for 2006, Stewart Warner Performance specializing in tachometers and gauges.
Continuing their long-standing partnership of the NHRA Professional Race Support trailer program are returning partners Performance Springs, Inc, CV Product/Xceldyne Technologies and Dart Machinery. Dart, a manufacturing leader in Engine Blocks, Heads and Intake Manifolds, is in its third season with the PRS program. Returning for a second year with the PRS program is Diamond Pistons, and AFCO Racing Products, which specializes in shock absorbers and chassis spring combinations, while Performance Springs, Inc, the #1 leader in racing valve springs, is a founding member of the program and has been with us from the start.
CV Products, a Sponsor of the series over the past five years, is proud to partner with Xeceldyne Technologies for the second consecutive season as a Major Contingency Sponsor. CV Products is world-renowned for delivering professional race engine components of the highest quality and reliability. Widely regarded for expertise in high rpm valvetrain technology, CV Products also offers a complete and diverse line of racing components for all key engine and engine-related product categories: short block and internal components, oil systems, fuel systems, cooling systems, fasteners, external drive systems and accessories, and much more. Their dedication to R&D, engineering and manufacturing has helped set new standards for quality control, consistent performance and durability of racing valvetrain systems.
PRS – NHRA Division Manager, Dennis Shepard, will once again lead the fully equipped trailer, hitting the road at the end of January for the season opener in Pomona, California, and will continue to bring expert service and technology to the teams and drivers.
